Photos of PSM’s 45th Anniversary Celebration!

More than 400 people gathered on Wednesday, March 1st at Saints Cyril and Methodius Church in Deer Park for the 45th anniversary of Catholic Charities’ Parish Social Ministry (PSM). Most Reverend Andrzej Zglejszewski, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, celebrated the mass and more than 20 other priests were also in attendance. Among them were Msgr. John Gilmartin and Msgr. John Cervini, two of PSM’s founders. Today, 110 of the 133 parishes in the Diocese of Rockville Centre now have PSM offices. With the help of more than 4,000 volunteers, they offer direct assistance to vulnerable neighbors and bring our diocese’s mercy and justice efforts to the community level.
