    MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT
Catholic Charities provides treatment and support services for people with a range of needs, from job- and family-related stress to serious, lasting disturbances. Building on individuals' strengths, we help them stabilize their lives and improve their emotional well-being.

Services Provided

Outpatient Clinics
Psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and social workers staff three Catholic Charities mental health outpatient clinics, in Freeport, Bay Shore, and Medford. Services are provided to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Each clinic has bilingual capacity to treat in Spanish. Services include individual and group therapy, as well as prescribing and managing medications. Clinic case managers screen and schedule clients for treatment and assist with access to other services in the community. In-home services for seniors are available in Nassau County through our Freeport clinic.
